Ok now these are the movies that I actually went to see, so it's not a list of all the movies of 2009. So if anyone reads this and says, "Oh the Hangover was the greatest!" well I didn't see it so not on the list. =P
#1 Avatar - Can there be any doubt on this? No there can't it was just pure awesome!
#2 UP - I took Ayden to see this and the whole understory about Russell and his dad made me cry at least twice during the movie, I loved it.
#3 Star Trek - Thought that it was great, thank you JJ Abrams for taking it over
#4 Definitely Maybe - Ok so it's a chick flick, I liked it. I liked the line where the daughter asks why there is a happy ending when her parents are getting a divorce, and the dad says, because of you. Got me all teared up.
#5 Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince - I really only liked it because it reminded me why I loved the books. If you've read the books than you know that this movie was only ok
#6 District 9 - Ok so I watched this on the Blue Ray in my media room, but I'm counting it. I thought it was ok, but considering that I saw Avatar the night before, it didn't have a chance.
And that's pretty much all that I saw this year, having two kids makes getting to the movies a little tough, but in 2010 I figure to take Ayden to see, Toy Story 3 and How to train your dragon.

Top 10 most played songs from 2009
Because it's the end of the year and everyone likes making year end lists and I hate being left out, I decided that I'd make a list of my own. So what should I make, ah well I like music, and my itunes keeps track of what I have played the most during the second half of 2009 and I just love statistics so it was a natural fit. Not to mention I like feeling self important, but if you're reading this you probably already know that =).
So without further ado here is Adam's most played songs of the second half of 2009 (I'll only list the same band twice because some CD's got played a lot.
#1 Swing Life Away - Rise Against - "It's an older song, but it's melodic and I just liked it, simple and happish".
#2 Anywhere But Here - Rise Against - "Makes me think of freedom, thus I like it."
#3 Attack - 30 Seconds to Mars - "Kind of surprised that this is this high on the list with 24 plays, but I still like it, kind of aggressive."
#4 Little Bribes - Death Cab for Cutie - "It's a song about Vegas, how awesome is that?!?!"
#5 Polaris - Jimmy Eat World - "It's a song about following someone's love like the North Star to find your way, I love it."
#6 Work - Jimmy Eat World - "Makes me think of running away with Jen, as a line in the song says, "Get out of this place while we still have time."
#7 A Diamond and a Tether - Death Cab for Cutie - "I just like Death Cab and this was on the Open Door EP so it got a bit of play in 2009"
#8 The Archers Bows Have Broken - Brand New - "Brand New came up light on the play list because I think it got a lot of play earlier in the year, anyway this is a great song IMO."
#9 Drunken Lullabies - Flogging Molly - "Again Flogging Molly had a lot of early 09 play, this is just a fun song."
#10 Jesus - Brand New - "I think it reminds me of the bad old days, lines like, 'Jesus what did you do those three days you were dead, cause this problem is going to take more than a weekend.' There is just an angry hopelessness in the song that reminds me of my life before Jen.
And there you have it, my top songs of 2009 according to my Itunes. Granted there was a lot more play by some artists like Rise Against and Jimmy Eat World, plus the first half of the year, but it's good enough for the three people that read this.

Avatar
Went and saw Avatar last week in 3d IMAX and I have to say that I was just blown away. Sure the story is only ok, but it was good enough for me. What was so amazing about the movie to me was that it really transported you to another world. The feeling that I got while watching it was the same as when I watched Lord of the Rings, read Harry Potter, or even when I played WoW. It's the details of the world that are the amazing part that bring it to life. In each of those three examples it felt like I was experiencing a part of that world, not where everything I saw was it, like in most action movies where the events of the movie are basically it, nothing happens beyond the story itself. And that I think was what made Avatar so great for me. The world in the movie existed before the movie started and it will continue after the movie ended, there is more story than just the story that was told. I guess that would be where a critic would say, "Well show me the rest of the story." But you just simply can't, it's the subtility that makes the movie and the world what it is. If you jammed a bunch of story and plot into the movie then you'd lose the wonder of what was really going on.
I don't know maybe it's just me, but the movie worked, it was fun and I really enjoyed watching it, I'd say it was the shortest three hours I have ever sat through. Go see it.
Oh and only another month until Lost is back

FF - Over the top
You know what is hard? It's sitting here for the last couple weeks saying, "This show is great, you have to watch this show." and then seeing an episode like the one last night. Maybe it's just me but I felt it was way to over the top and trying way to hard to squeeze everything in for the mid season stopping point. Even better is that the show returns in March, which means that Demetri is going to bite it in like episode 2 of the return if they keep the show somewhat in sync with actual time. And I know they are trying to because it was near Christmas in last nights episode, and they are going to have an episode on the actual date of the black out. But those are just minor gripes.
So let's start off with the craziness of announcing that you might have killed 20 million people in a very open and less than secure press conference, yeah that was a brilliant move for three guys that work quantum physics, you don't think that one of them would have at least said, "You know some people might have a bad reaction to this." Sure Simon didn't want to come forward but after losing the poker game you'd think that he could have at least said, "Well let's be smart about this." Nope. As a side note, the experiments that they were talking about doing are actually taking place in Europe right now at CREN. So Symcoe just thinks that he's going to go on with normal life after coming forward, seriously can you be that stupid? Not to mention when the FBI agent shows up and wants to talk to him about what happen, "Just leave us alone." Ok now you're retarded. No matter how you slice it, that's some pretty shitty story telling, right up to the point where the fake ambulance people showed up, duh! Again, seriously, you didn't know that they weren't fake ambulance guys, that was as predictable as you can get, very very disappointing. But now we know how his son came to live with Olivia.
And let me go one further with the Oliva / Symcoe storyline, could she have fallen over herself anymore for the guy in the episode. What is up with all the commitment that she has supposedly shown to Mark only to have Mr. Physics accept some uncertified credit for a mass murder. I guess the old line from some evil person is true. "If you kill one, you're a murderer, if you kill a thousand you're a conqueror" Or something like that. Either way, what is her deal? It's bugging me. And how about his "Many Worlds" theory. While I have to admit I love the theory itself, harkens back to watching Star Trek TNG all those years, but man did he use that as a pick up line. And excuse me, don't brush back her hair. You do that to my wife and I'll very well do what his buddy Simon suggested, "Give his testicles a squeeze." FYI there were a lot of fairly over the top references like that in this episode, just wait until I get to Janis and wanting a baby, pure blogging gold!!!! Ok ok I'll keep it clean. mostly.
Since I brought up Simon let's talk about Simon and his super cool theoretical antenna that actually exist. He thought it up in 92 and the picture was taken in 91, seems like some scientist had the EXACT SAME IDEA HE DID. Ok now I don't know much about quantum physics and I don't really understand how the whole innovation process works, but I'm guessing that two different scientists coming up with EXACTLY THE SAME IDEA AT ROUGHLY THE SAME TIME is just a little too coincidental. Better guess is that, Simon at some point in the future is going to have a flashback and imprint the idea of that creation on himself previous to inventing those things in 92. I'm also going to guess that we're going to find out that the black out event had to take place for some unknown reason and that too will be messaged back in time.
Before I get to Mark and D, just a quick, OH SNAP to D's future wife. I think I remember somewhere hearing that in Korea that you were white at a funeral, I think it was MASH, but it hit me the other week what was really going on, heck I even told my wife last night that I thought it was a funeral before the actual revelation, score a point for me! woohoo!!! Anyway that's pretty F'd up but that's the sort of stuff that I really love.
Ok so on to Mark and D and their crazy adventure in Hong Kong. You know if I've learned anything from the media and movies and other stuff it's this... DON'T F WITH CHINA! I guess Mark and D don't watch tv very much and didn't get the memo and went all American cowboys over there. I'm still trying to figure out how they didn't end up dead out of all that, I mean seriously you had what I'm going to guess is a Chinese spy (oh wait she can't be, she's not Chinese) at gun point surrounded by Chinese police. I'm sorry but I don't think that some CIA agent is going to talk his way out of that, but alas it happened. And also what is the deal with Mark getting all crazy in the restaurant with a table full of armed guys that were just looking for an excuse to shoot you. Was this part of the, "I had a flashforward so I know I'm going to live bit?" I don't know it just seemed WAY over the top for me and forced. I'm not sure what else there is to say with these guys, I mean they went to China and went crazy then got sent home. Sure they found out that Mark's gun is the gun that kills D, but that hardly means that it was Mark that pulled the trigger, maybe he lost his gun in a fight with a bad guy, bad guy gets gun, D comes up from behind, bad guy turns and fires 3 times killing D. Just going to say that sounds a lot more likely, and pretty obvious.
And that leaves us with Janis and her quest to find *****. I'll keep it clean, but the first thing that popped in my head when she was asking if he knew of a good bank to get some, I was instantly thinking, "Yeah I know a place, my bedroom." But I'm a pig. But come on, wasn't that whole conversation a bit much for 8pm 7 central TV? I mean really you could have gotten around half of that if they wanted to, but it went along with the whole theme of the episode, "Over the top" The whole episode was over the top, it was trying to hard to be super cool, and in my opinion it tripped over itself. But that's it until March so maybe it will all work out.
But you know what that means that FF is now on break... My next write up will be about LOST (boom, lost sound) 2/2/2010 I have heard some stuff about the up coming season so I'll drop some spoilers in another post next week, nothing too big, but expect to see a lot of dead people return.

FF - I believe this show is good
So of the three people that are reading this, you don't need me to tell you that this show is just great, you already know that. I won't say that it's pure awesome because there are issues with it that aren't perfect, but even I can find flaws in Lost if I really tried. Speaking of Lost since I always bring it up, it is the benchmark after all, last nights Flashforward reminded me of "The Constant" from Lost season 4. When a sci-fi show can bring in enough emotional drama that even this guy that is considering buying the Blue Ray of "Fight Club" starts to get a little misty eyed, what can you say except that it's a great show. It also says that I have range in my tastes =)
Back in the days when I was depressed, let's call them up until about 10 years ago (how odd Fight Club came out 10 years ago, see the connection...) I had a saying that I would try to tell myself when I got down. "No matter how bad my day is, someone just got diagnosed with terminal cancer." So Brice was really having a bad day at the start of the episode. And all of a sudden it made total sense why he was down at the pier ready to scare all the children buying balloons from that balloon vendor, and we just thought he had issues, shame on us for judging him, but more on judging later. But based on his very clever Flashforward he was destined to meet our little rocker Japanese girl (if anyone is keeping score we now have Japan, China, and Korea covered, expect to see Canada next week). But Keiko while a bio mechanical engineer who worked so hard in life to not work in the resturant was still forced to serve tea at work. Have to love those equal rights! You go girl!
Instead our little purple haze fangirl went all Woodstock on those corporate guys and got herself a pink slip and some black ink. (that was a colorful sentence). Which of course didn't fly well with her mom and in what was a little cliche they had a fight and left to never be seen again. Mommy was so disapointed that her daughter wasn't going to find a good husband, maybe she shouldn't have judged the "white boy" at the door so quickly. Here is an artist and a doctor, looks like mommy would have approved. And to me that was one of the things that made the whole storyline just work, everything fell perfectly into place, to me that was some great writing. Best of all the little twist in the end where you had thought that he was going to have to find her, but in actuality she came to LA looking for him, to a great Dillion song none the less, it was to me at least magical.
"First rule of text messaging is, you do not talk about text messages. Second rule of text messages is, YOU DO NOT TALK ABOUT TEXT MESSAGES." I'm sorry I just love that movie. Anyway to my point has a text message ever brought so much hostility before (don't answer that) My God what is up with those two going raving mad when Mark asked them about the text? Ok sure being accused of something sucks but can't we all be adults and just say, "Mark it wasn't me, I wouldn't do that." But no we need to jump off the deep end in both cases, my money is that the bearded ex-soon to be again-drinker did it, becuase well he's got some issues of his own to deal with. Oh and speaking of his issues, doesn't it seem a little oh I don't know stupid to get all aquisatory with the FBI agent that jumped through some hoops to dig up your dead daughter and was looking into a private military for you, maybe that's just me though. And so what his daughter has daddy issues... Oh how I'd love to make some jokes there about her pole dancing but having trouble becuase she only has one leg, but I can't because I told my wife I'd clean up my writing. Either way that guy (I can't remember his name) was out of line, he really needs to chill out a little bit, maybe he should go have a drink or something...
Next week (2 weeks from now) looks pretty good, this show is really starting to come together and I really like it. I've been watching V and I really want to like that show, but FF I really like, it just seems to get better each week.

Ok so my wife got on me about my write up and it being a little too rough. I have to agree, the goal is to try and make it a very rough unpolished emotional take on what I watch, but at the same time there are limits.
This blog really is only for my amusement because I'm obviously not the most skilled writer in the world, if I was then I'd be writing actual reviews. My point here is offer up theories, much like the e-mail chain that started all of this a couple years ago. So I'll keep the language in check a little better, but no promises on the prose.
And if you are reading, thanks for reading, I crave attention, as Dede said, "It's a first born curse." V is tonight. woot!

Flash Forward - Free falling
I've come down a little bit off the "HOLY FUCKING SHIT!" feeling that I got at the end of last nights episode. Thank goodness there is another show that is willing to kick some ass and take names by not being afraid to show that it has some balls. I love Lost how you never never know what is going to happen, even after 5 years it has me guessing, a little too much at times, but at least I never know what I'm going to get. Flashforward last night showed that it can play with the big boys.
So last week I was discussing if the future could be changed per Simons explanation, oh and the show has earned it's characters names, Penny and Charlie can be put to rest. I still have my eye on you over there in Vland Juliet, but you kick ass anyway so I might let you slide... So it looks like that yes you sure as heck can change the future, which opens up even that much more potential for the show, "How the show is about knowing the future?" Ah but here is the great part now all the characters get to second guess themselves as they try to either create or cancel out the potential future. For example if Mark starts drinking now, it's no longer, "Well I guess I'm just screwed and I'm going to start drinking no matter what, fate has me by the balls." (I'm cursing a lot today) Not so fast Mark, now if you drink it means that it was all your fault all along, making you a alcoholic loser, awesome! If Olivia does Mr. Evil British dude then it's because she's a saucy English tart, oh wait I forgot she's an American on the show...
Best of all though, Demetri might not be dead after all, duh! Knew that was coming, I mean really he's one of the main main characters and he's good so it's not like they are going to kill him off, right Boone, Shannon, Anna, Libby, Mr. Eko, Locke, Juliet, Daniel, etc.. Nope I really can't go more than 2 sentences without bringing up Lost (January 29th). Getting back to my point, now there is a reason why him and his wife are seeing two different things, or maybe she just gets over it really quick and has her wedding anyway, or she's crazy in the future... But the possibility is there for Demetri to survive because the future isn't written in stone, sounds good huh? Not so fast again! Now he knows that he's going to be killed on March 15th if everything plays out according to plan (no saying if that is still possible because of our little skydiver friend) but if he's on the clock and now knows that he can catch the killer before he gets a chance to kill him, wouldn't that make him oh I don't know a little obsessive? (I think I see Jason Stathum [sp] "cranking" by as I type) So really he could just take on a "killem all attitude" and hope that he gets the right one, "I say we take off and nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure" - Aliens At the same time, such a rampage could bring about his death via revenge.
Which is the crux of everything now, how do you know if you're actually preventing or causing the future to happen? Al sure knew a way to change things... And what about our only other black actor on the show (I mean really if you're going to kill off someone did it have to be a black guy, the diversity school bus just got that much shorter, but we still meet our quotas [1 women for every 3 guys, 1 black guy, 1 Asian guy, 1 gay character bonus for being a women, a kid or two] just saying...) When they went to the blue hand club, (oh there is such a joke here I want to make) Al without fear grabs the gun and pulls the trigger, the others are amazed that he did it, but like he says, "he has a future." so based on what we knew up until that point, he couldn't be killed, none of them could for that matter. Al though might have been trying to actually do himself there though, because we're shown him looking up the the women that he accidentlly killed in the future. But because fate had a plan for him, there was no way that some random event was going to change the future for him, everything that was going to happen would be part of that script up until the fateful day. Unless he took out all shadow of a doubt that he could survive, hence the building base jumping without a paracuhe. So the future that he saw can never happen because he's dead. That doesn't mean that the women won't die anyway, but what you going to do?
It's like the British agent said, "Maybe the bird will just fly into another window." Meaning you're dead regardless, it's just that it might change how it happens, kind of a final destination thing there. But the women did go and tape up the window just in case, I mean, you might as well try.
And that's where we are, who can and will do what, and what effect will it have? My guess is that the women will live, I guess we're led to assume that is the case. So people without flashforwards the way it stands today, they are going to die, but that can be changed, it should get interesting.
So I got about 90% of the way through V last night and I have to say that I thought that it was pretty good. I'll give the show a pass on the fact that if anyone saw the old series that you pretty much already know what is going on on the show so really the big surprises that they had for the original miniseries aren't going to be there here. We know they are evil, we know they want to kill us all, we know they are lizard people, etc... But overall it seemed pretty fresh.
What I did like was that the reaction from the general population seemed to be pretty good, they were skeptical, and considering how Xenophopic we are (I've wanted to use that word for a long time) it makes sense that most people would freak out. But at the same time would be curious about a giant alien spacecraft arriving overhead. And in a great knock to Independence Day, I like how one of the kids said it was just like that, and the other said that that was a knock off from another TV show, guess which show...
So while some of the show might be a little predictable, it's still looks worth a watching because I have a feeling that there will be some twists and turns that will make it exciting like the holy grail of crazy shows, Lost. And speaking of Lost, Juliet is the lead character on V, so you can't go wrong there.
We only have 3 more episodes until the long break, but that's ok, I guess it was done to improve the show so ok cool with me, I have high hopes and almost no expectations.

Flash Forward - Catching up
Even though I pretty much only do this for my own enjoyment, I have been slacking for the one or two people that actually read this and to those rare exceptional individuals I apologize for falling behind with all of the travel the last couple of weeks. So without further ado it's time for some pointless observations on Flash Forward.
This weeks post is supposed to make up for three weeks worth of missing the show so I'm going to miss a bit, it's probably all going to sound and read a lot like Mark's FF in that it was very random because he was drunk at the time. That's a pretty nice revelation not so much that it says that he is going to be drinking (we already knew that) but in that everyone elses FF's are clear as day, so there shouldn't be any confusion in what was going on with anyone at the time of their FF. Which brings up one very very annoying point, why do the FF's come off as so random to us at home. I mean I guess it's standard now in TV that all memories have that random sketchiness to them, but in this case why, they are supposed to be clear as day.
But I have to say that I really like the drama that is building with this character, and for all the characters with bad futures, it's like their lives are starting to lose control as the date gets closer and closer, I'm sure towards the end of the season we'll be treated to absolute chaos, which I am always a fan of. But to my point, the drama in the show is actually pretty good, there is tension and it's being played very well by Mark and Penny (Olivia) Sorry but all people that were on Lost keep their Lost names until I say otherwise in my blog. The good doctor that decided to save Janice's baby making ability is forever known as PPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNYYYYYYYYYYYYYY - Desmond
Speaking of Janice, let's talk about changing the future. Penny is sitting there in the operation room and as a good doctor should be removing her baby making parts in order to save her life as the other doctor suggested, instead she does the "risky" maneuver and saves her womb. Ok you're terrified of the future this might be a good opportunity to change the future, no womb, no sonogram, no sonogram and all of a future that Janice had, doesn't take place. Sure it's a little cold, ok very cold, but it would prove that the future is not set in stone. But I think the show doesn't want us to see that quite just yet, if so then the drama might change as people know that they aren't on a collision course with April 29th. I think before too long we're going to see that the future can be changed as Charlie (Simon) alluded to (more on that in a moment). And then when that happens everyone is going to be trying to make sure what happened either happened or doesn't happen, but the trick will be what actions help the future and which actions hurt it, ah more chaos! Mark my word (not by drinking) that everything is going to get all fucked up before we get to the end of the season and it's going to be a blast.
So why do I think the future can be changed, it's as simple as Simon says. Oh snap, nice play on words there Adam =) As Charlie told the soon to be dead hooker (ok I don't know if she was a hooker or not, but he sure as heck killed her, and wouldn't we all prefer if she were a hooker rather than someone that had a life outside of that train.... I thought so. I mean who knows maybe she was the next Vivian (Pretty Women, Julia Roberts, hello!) but I'll assume not, but I digress. Charlie (Simon) tells her some pretty heavy quantum physics and thankfully since I watch a lot of the science channel I understood what the heck he was saying. For those of you that don't like monotone shows that remind you of school (Hi Jen) let me break it down. Simply put there are an infinite number of universes and every possible outcome that can happen in the universe does happen in another universe. So for example in another universe I'm king of the world (yes that king riding on the front of the Titanic), so basically anything can and does happen in some way in some universe. Here is another little tidbit that he brought up that relates to that, on a subatomic level particles can exist in two places at the same time, WTF you say, hey I don't really get it either but thankfully there are people on the science channel doing that work for me. If you combine the two theories then it basically means that everyone on the show is existing in a universe and the outcome in that universe is set, but they also exist in another universe with a different outcome, so it is possible to change the future. As Charlie said the cat in her hand can live or die, and in fact both outcomes happen, the question is what outcome is everyone going to choose?
And there my friends is the crux of everything on the show, the experiment that Charlie and British dad that gets to keep his British accent. Anyone else catch on that there are three British actors on the show but one of them has to use an American accent? Just interesting, I guess it's better than being Chinese on the show, those evil Chinese people. Of you could be Somali (however you spell it) you're the hapless victim of some global conspiracy, what was I saying...
Oh yeah the show is about trying to move between universes, why I have no idea, thank you very much terrorist blond head lady, but that's what it is, the two guys that had a part of it were scientists and one of them is a bad guy (Charlie AKA Simon) and the other guy is pretty neutral at this point, maybe he was trying to find a version of his son that wasn't Autistic (which by the way Autism is a serious deal please give to those in need) who knows, but it's sounds good to me.
Ok that's enough for today, I missed like a million things but it was three weeks, this week I'll do better.
Oh and watch V, Juliet is in it. I'm going to write that up too, because it's a show about lizard aliens that land on Earth to take it over, how can I not watch that.

A little Lost tidbit
We're only a couple months away and I'm starting to get some intel on the final Lost season. It's not much but, I know that the first two episodes will have background stories on Kate and Locke. Not sure if they are flashbacks, flashforwards, alternate realities, or what, but that's what I know.
So let's just get the disapointment over with, "Another Kate story, awh crap, oh well." It's ok we have 3 months to get over it.

FF 1.3 - For the birds
I'm so torn on Flashforward, at one moment it's giving me the chills but then the next moment i can see all of the plot holes in it. Now when Lost presents us with plot holes we've all taken it on faith that they will in some way answer them. I can't believe I just said that Lost would answer something, the rain outside must be getting to me.
So what do we have, let's start off with the worst actor on the show, the AA guy. Turns out that it was his daughter in the ground, or a part of her anyway so that seems to suggest that she really is dead. I'm not so sure I remember in the pilot that they only returned a part of her that weighted like 30lbs or something, so maybe it was just a leg or something, who knows. Anyway I'm not sold on that story being that, but who knows.
Now on to Harold (or the Asian guy if you don't get the reference) very interesting when you consider that he didn't have a flashforward so that pretty much suggests that he will be dead. Also the woman calling from Hong Kong (I've seen Amazing Race enough times to recognize HK when I see it) telling him that he was going to be killed on March 15th (beware the ides of March eh) seems to suggest that it's true. But hold the phone, she answered his post on the website so how do we know for a fact that she is telling the truth. When you consider that the Nazi guy was full of crap, that might have been the theme for the episode. Additionally his fieance saw what she thought was their wedding day, so really who knows.
And this is what I find the most intreging about the show, but also the most distressed by it, how do we know that what happen in the future really is what is going to happen, and how much of the current activities are all being based on the future so that the future becomes self fulfilling. Meaning that just by the fact that they are convinced that something is going to happen, they do all the things that will make it happen. That Mark guy saw himself drinking and his wife Penny (Oh wait wrong show, PPPPPEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNYYYYYYYYYY - Desmond) cheataing on him from her vision. Seems like the stress of all of that is going to make it all happen after all. Like the Nazi guy said, it's a game of chicken, you're stareing down the future but do you swerve to avoid it, and how do you know that it isn't going to swerve the same way you do?
But here is the one thing that has really been bugging me about the show. Who the hell is getting married at 8 pm in Hawaii? Who is getting an ultrasound at 10 pm at night. Why is the daughter up at 10 pm at night, and how the hell does she know so much from 2 minutes? I think that these are some major holes that need to be filled and fast, I can go with a lot of crap, hell if you've ever seen any of my theories on Lost than you'd think I was crazy, but all of it logically has to make sense in some fashion.
And now for the final two pieces of my "mosaic" first being Harold again (I really need to learn their names) finding the customs agent and his bong. If it were you wouldn't you turn the dude in? I mean if for no other reason than to change something. I actually think in this shows case you can change the future, but we're not going to find that out for sure until closer to the season end. Besides I like the Asian guy in the show and if they kill him off well then what do you do next season if there is one?
And the final piece is the murder of crows, I have to admit that was a FANTASTIC play on words! The big tower thingy that seemed to cause the black out in Africa was very strange too. Which leads to my first completely insane theory for the show, and I mean insane. It's aliens, they moved the Earth, huh?!?! There is one image that is very odd, when Mark blacked out in the first episode and everytime they replay it, the first image is of a spiral galaxy in his eye. So at this early point I'm going with that. If that sounds crazy, HELLO! You're watching Lost and you buy that crap. =)

New Season begins in January
Ladies and Gentleman, in order to make this final season as awesome as I possibly can (and there really isn't too much that I can do about it) I've decided to skip over the usual e-mail method for recaps and am going to get all high tech on yo ass with my very own Lost blog and recap. This way all you need to do is come to my website and presto there you are with some of the most pointless and usually dead wrong information that you can find about Lost anywhere on the Internet. Plus it cuts down on all of that e-mail spam you get during the season.
If I get all crazy this season I might even sit there with the laptop clicking away as I watch the show unfold. However since I'll most likely be watching it on the DVR at the time, it wouldn't be very realtime.
Anyway it's a long way until the show starts up, but I wanted to get the site going while I was thiking about it. As a warm up I'll do Flashforward reviews until the Lost season gets rolling, still not sure on the show, but crazy theories and stuff are fun so what the heck.
Also I think there is a spot to leave comments so if any questions come up on any of the stuff I post here, feel free and I'll address them as best as I can.
